Temple is open every day from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Except on Friday, where it is open from 8:00 A. M. till 8:30 P.M. If it is necessary to perform any special service, please make an appointment with the monks

Samatha (Concentration) and Viapsaana (Insight) meditation class is conducted every Friday from 7:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

 

Every other Sunday (Temporarily Unavailable)

Sunday Dhamma School is open for children every other Sunday morning from 9:30 A.M – 11:30 A.M. Please see the schedule on temple activities calendar for updated schedule.

 

Every other Month (Temporarily Unavailable)

Sunday Dhamma School is conducted for children in Jacksonville and West Palm Beach locations every other month. Please see the schedule on Temple Activities Calendar for more information.

 

Every month

Monthly Pooja will be held on the last Saturday of each month at 7:00 P.M. followed by devotional services, Dhamma talk & discussions, and blessing.

 

Every year

New Year Blessing Service – FBV annually conducts a New Year blessing service for devotees on January 1st.

Children’s Sil Program – It’s important for children to understand the virtues of observing Sil from a young age. Every year in March, the temple conducts the Children’s Sil program. Please see the schedule on Temple Activities Calendar for more information.

Vesak celebration – (Buddha day). Vesak is the major Buddhist festival of the year as it celebrates the Birth, Enlightenment and Parinirvana (Passing away of the Buddha). This celebration will be held during the full moon day of the month of May.

Katina ceremony – This day is dedicated to celebrate the end of Vassana retreat by Monks. This ceremony is typically held during October full moon day to November full moon day.

 

Other services we offer include

Chanting of Suthras, which is a means of blessing convalescents.
Officiate in funerals.
Conduct house-warming and blessing ceremonies, visit hospitals, Nursing homes for chanting.
Religious services and sermons aimed at adult devotees.
Spiritual counseling.
Youth development services.
Culture and other social activities.
Supply books and other educational material on Dhamma to those aspiring to consume them.

All services are free and contributions are voluntary.
